Comparisons
PG/VG ratio: which liquid fits technically?
PG and VG are the main carriers in many liquids. Their ratio affects viscosity, flavour delivery and aerosol volume.
More PG
PG is thinner. Higher-PG mixtures are commonly used in smaller MTL and pod systems when the manufacturer permits it.
More VG
VG is thicker and generally produces more aerosol. High-VG liquids require a coil and liquid-feed system designed for greater viscosity.
Choosing safely
Device instructions and coil-manufacturer guidance take precedence over general recommendations. Unsuitable viscosity can contribute to poor wicking or leaks.
