Airy draw
An airy draw allows substantial airflow through the atomizer and feels less restrictive. It is often paired with DTL, but requires matching coil and power design; more air does not automatically mean more flavour or safety.

Classification
Airy draw describes part of the airflow path – the route incoming air takes from the intake to the mouthpiece. The cross-section, position and adjustability of that route noticeably change draw resistance and aerosol temperature. Because Airy draw is closely tied to Airflow setting, comparing two products is always worth doing across both specifications rather than just one.

Practical relevance
Because Airy draw controls the ratio of air to aerosol, even a small adjustment changes perceived flavour far more than switching liquid does. Draw style and device choice are therefore closely linked. Looking at Airy draw and Long draw together makes it quicker to tell whether a problem sits in the device, the consumable or the way it is used.

Handling it safely
Do not block or widen Airy draw beyond the adjustment the manufacturer provides. Blocked openings increase the load on coil and battery, while very wide settings can produce hot aerosol and leaking liquid. Keep the manufacturer documentation for Airy draw to hand; in a dispute it is also the decisive basis for warranty questions.
